About me

Hey, I’m Caleb Taylor, and I’m the kind of developer who builds things when I need them and can’t find a solution that works. My latest project, SearchGPT: Powered by ChatGPT, came about because I was simply fed up with trying to improve my search experience and hitting dead ends.

It all started when I noticed that, more often than not, I wasn’t getting the answers I needed from Google searches. You know the feeling—scrolling through page after page, only to realize you’re no closer to the answer. That’s when I started looking for extensions or tools that could bring in a bit more intelligence to my searches.

The problem? Most of the extensions I tried either didn’t work properly, were way too complicated for what I needed, or came with costs that didn’t make sense for something I just wanted to use day-to-day. It became clear that nothing out there really worked the way I wanted. So, I did what developers do—I built something myself.

SearchGPT was born out of my need for a simple, reliable AI-powered tool that could enhance search results without overcomplicating things. Now, when I’m not satisfied with Google’s response, I can trigger an AI bot (powered by GPT-4) that gives me an answer that’s more relevant, insightful, and helpful. It’s like having a personal assistant for your searches, only smarter—and always available when you need it.

I’ve integrated the latest GPT-4 technology to ensure it’s as cutting-edge as possible. And here’s the kicker: I’m covering the cost of every single request myself. For now, I’m planning to keep it free for as long as I can manage, because I want others to have the same simple, effective experience without worrying about complicated setups or high costs.

EULA for SearchGPT Extension

  1. Introduction This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or an entity) and SearchGPT, the developer of the SearchGPT extension. By installing, accessing, or using the extension, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this EULA.
  2. Grant of License SearchGPT grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the extension on any device that you own or control, subject to the terms and conditions of this EULA.
  3. Restrictions You may not:
